The Miniature Hereford Breeders Association (MHBA) was founded in 1999 by Kenny & Ali Petersen and Kathy Lantz to organize Miniature Hereford breeders across the country and promote the breed through out the world.

The MHBA is a not-for-profit corporation managed by a board of directors and regional directors. Annual membership meetings are held each January in Denver, CO in conjunction with the Miniature Hereford Show at the National Western Stock Show..

The fiscal year is also the calendar year, January through December.

Annual dues of $50 are due each January 1.

The Miniature Hereford Breeders Association will provide programs, services, and leadership, enhance communication, develop a superior marketable product, create a network support system, and provide educational opportunities for Miniature Hereford Breeders.
